At Hachimantai Heights, you can enjoy the luxury of relaxing in a hot spring bath in a private forest while gazing up at the majestic form of Mt. Iwate.
The baths here overflow with all-natural geothermal water, and there are two open-air baths- one surrounded by rocks and other made from cypress, from which you can enjoy the changes in the landscape throughout the seasons.
There are also private baths, baths with rock bottoms, foot baths in the forest, and various other places where you can enjoy hot springs baths with family or friends.
The source of the hot spring is Hachimantai Hot Spring, a simple sulfur spring, commonly known as magma hot water.
