Summer and Fall Gondola Ride to Enjoy Beautiful Scenery

It takes about 15 minutes to ride the gondola. Walk from the top of the gondola along a promenade to the summit of Mt. Maemori at an altitude of 1,304 meters.
From the summit, gaze down upon the vast panorama of beech forests, Mt. Iwate, Hachimantai, Mt. Nanashigure, and Mt. Himekami. There is also a sky deck on Mt. Maemori with a cafe at Tenku Garden. (The hours for the Tenku Garden area may vary)

You may also be lucky enough to see the surreal beauty of an ocean of clouds.
You have a higher chance of seeing the ocean of clouds from night to morning, when the temperature is just starting to rise. The gondola starts running early to give people the opportunity to see this ocean of clouds.

It’s very convenient for trekking from APPI to Hachimantai, and you can ride with your dog as well.
