Located in the Appi Kogen pension area, this inn attracts fans from all over Japan for its friendly and unpretentious atmosphere. It is so popular that some guests stay for more than a month during the snow season, attracted by both the powder snow of Hachimantai and the charm of this inn.
The owners, Mr. and Mrs. Kondo, offer warm hospitality, and Mrs. Kondo, who is also a nutrition and cooking instructor, cooks exceptional meals.
The lounge has a Japanese kotatsu (a table with a blanket that is heated underneath), which is amazingly comfortable. It’s an easy place to chat with other guests and make friends.
