Hike through the Iwate Prefectural Forest at the northern edge of Mt. Iwate in Snowshoes.

After you pass through the forest of birch trees, you’ll see Mt. Iwate towering before you. The silence of the snow envelopes the area, so the only sound besides the tramping of your feet is the occasional song of the birds. This is a perfect location to enjoy the perfection of nature, or perhaps do a bit of walking meditation.
The trail is about 2.5km long with a total climb of 100 meters. Embrace the winter here in Hachimantai in this perfect powder snow!

Health: To protect the safety of all participants, persons to which any of the following apply cannot participate: High blood pressure; heart, spine or neck problems; epilepsy; hyperventilation; drunkenness; pregnancy and/or imminent conception; anyone that the organizer decides should not participate for their own safety.
