A fantastic diner attached to a produce market where you can taste the produce. We recommend the Genovese, which is made with lots of thick fresh Hachimantai hot spring basil. This Genovese pasta gets its great aroma from cheese and the Hachimantai violet garlic, which is said to develop a rich flavor over the winter.
The other dish is horohorocho soba, made with Guinea fowl, known as the most delicious of all birds. This is a menu item that has many repeat customers, as the broth made from Hanamaki’s Guinea fowl is so addictive. After repeated customer requests, the soup is also sold separately.
The market also has a produce stand where you can buy local vegetables, Matchan Market’s original products such as “Bakke Senbei” (butterbur crackers), and grape juice made with wild grapes that has a sugar content of 22%.
Local delivery is also available, making it the perfect place to buy souvenirs.
