While automobiles are typically used just as a form of transport, here we combine them with fun recreation, accommodations, and activities! Part of the land has been cleared into a mountainous “Off-Road Park,” where visitors can try out vehicle off-roading in lifted Suzuki Jimnis, Polaris 4x4s, and even snowmobiles, depending on the season. If you’ve ever longed to try something a little more exciting than bog standard road driving, we think you’ll have a blast.
Nearby the “THE MOTEL” is a dome that provides warm housing even in winter. There are free areas for solo camping, as well as trailer park grounds with hearth cottages and trailer saunas for that charming communal atmosphere.
Of course, it’s also possible to come just for a day visit. Activities such as fishing, mountain biking and off-road tours are held year-round depending on season, making it a great spot to come and enjoy the great outdoors of Appi and Hachimantai.
