In October 2020, La Vista was renovated and reopened as Appikogen Mori no Hotel.
Each stylishly designed guest room has its own private hot springs bath that is said to make your skin more beautiful. You can enjoy Maesawa beef, Iwate’s marbled wagyu beef, which is said to be a work of art in taste, at this hot spring resort.
The hot springs baths here are called Morden no Yu, and have legendary properties that bring great beauty to your skin as well as rejuvenate the bather. The geothermal waters wash away fat and secretions from the skin when you soak in them. The water feels thick, almost like a lotion, and it glides smoothly across your skin, and the more it soaks in, the better it feels. Some say that the soft touch of these waters is quite addictive.
There are a wide variety of rooms available, including Japanese-style rooms, Japanese-Western rooms, and Western-style rooms. The premium Western-style rooms are especially recommended. The premium Japanese-Western room is also of course fantastic, with a Japanese style room, a spacious veranda, and a Hollywood twin bedroom with a Simmons semi-double bed. On the other hand, the standard rooms are also available at reasonable prices.
