This is the one and only youth hostel in Appi Kogen.
The hostel also serves as a place for travelers from all over the world to interact and exchange information, which explains why there are so many activities available, such as night hikes. It is also a place where you can comfortably stay alone.
Each room door is decorated with the name and picture of an animal, such as a rabbit or a sheep, creating quite a cute atmosphere. Healthy Japanese food is served for breakfast.
The owner puts a lot of effort into volunteering, and has even hosted disaster victims in the past. He is also involved in a variety of other activities, such as offering accommodation plans as part of Hachimantai’s hometown tax return program.
