Matsuo-Hachimantai Aspite Farmer’s Market

As its name suggests, The Matsuo-Hachimantai Aspite Farmer&s Market can be found right next to the entrance to the Hachimantai Aspite Line.  They sell a wide variety of locally-grown seasonal vegetables and produce, as well as handmade sweets, snacks, and handicrafts.

Not only is it a great place to pick up fresh groceries, it’s also an excellent option for souvenir shopping.  During the earlier months, they even run a cafeteria!
