Hachimantai City in Iwate Prefecture is home to not one, but three famous ski resorts: APPI Kogen Ski Resort, and Hachimantai Resorts Panorama and Shimokura. Together with its excellent powder snow and heavy snowfall, it’s one of the best places in Japan for skiing.

Now, we’re making it even easier for visitors to enjoy all three resorts! This winter, there will be a bus route circulating between them. Using this convenient transit, those staying in Hachimantai Onsenkyo area can easily hit both Panorama and Shimokura, and even try Appi within a single day!

Feeling like you’ve conquered all of Appi’s slopes, but you still yearn to ski?  Then it’s time to move right on over to Hachimantai Resort.

Furthermore, there’s skiing to be enjoyed by people of all skill levels! For advanced riders, both Appi and Shimokura offer challenging tree run courses.
