The joy of forming something with your own two hands

tamariGama is a pottery shop that sells a variety of clay lacquerware, with a focus on bowls and dishes. Opened in 2013, the owner and sole staff of the shop, Mari Tamura, describes the charm of pottery as a sense of achievement; it’s fun to take a lump of clay and form it into something you and your family can enjoy using your own two hands.

Now you can share in fun too, as tamariGama offers quick half-hour pottery workshops. You can choose between forming something by hand or using a potter’s wheel, and the shop offers seven different paint colors to choose from.

Available year-round. 4 participants max (Ask about groups larger than 4). Must be reserved at least 3 days in advance. Reservation available by phone or email.
