Serving the region’s specialty cabbage among other seasonal produce such as alpine vegetables and mushrooms.  They also sell goose eggs several times throughout the year.





Route #1 – Bus from JR Morioka Station

  1. Bus
    1. Outside Morioka Station’s east exit, ride the bus headed for “Matsukawa Hot Spring” from boarding area #3 (Iwate Kenpoku Bus – 1hr 13min)
    2. Get off at the “Kashiwadai” bus stop, and walk for about 2 minutes from there (~220m)
  2. Seasonal Bus (Sansaku Bus)
    1. Outside Morioka Station’s east exit, board the bus from boarding area #3 (Sansaku Bus – 50min)
    2. Get off at the “Matsuo Kouzan Shiryoukan (Matsuo Mine Historical Museum)” bus stop

Route #2 – Access by car

  1. Travel ~12km from the Matsuo-Hachimantai IC on the Tohoku Expressway

  • 9:00 – 17:00 (November to March)
  • Closed on December 31st and January 1st.
