A pension located in Hachimantai’s Onsenkyo area that is symbolic for its vibrant blue roofing and walls.  If you look closely, you’ll notice that its sign depicts a baker making bread; that’s actually not a coincidence! The pension owner is an accomplished croissant baker, and the bread they serve each morning is quite popular.

Their chef flexes their skill when dinner comes around, serving both king crab and top-quality wagyu beef.  And of course it goes without saying, dinner comes with home-baked bread, as well.

After dinner, their onsen and lounge are perfect for relaxing.  Their onsen baths are permeated with the gentle fragrance of cypress, and use direct spring water that loosens up stress and is gentle on the skin.  The lounge, meanwhile, is stocked with a fully-featured audio system by the owner, who is rather fond of classical music.  It’s a comfortable atmosphere that is all too easy to while away hours in.

Just ten minutes away you’ll find the San Marino Gran Prix go-kart track, run by the same owner.  It’s a fun and recommended experience!
